The goal of diagnosis is to understand what is happening with the individual, measuring the unobservable phenomena and quantifying it. These tests throw light on the intra-psychic conflicts, if any. The validity and reliability is imperative for authentic and accurate diagnosis.
Diagnostics
We use standardized psychological tests which are administered at a specific time and date. Based on the requirements of the individual or the assessment of therapist, the tests administered may differ. Following are some of the diagnostic tools utilised:
